MARINE CONSULTING ENGINEERS
Longitude Engineering is a specialist engineering consultancy dedicated to providing naval architecture,
structural design and analysis services to the marine, offshore, renewable energy, superyacht and small
craft markets.
Longitude was founded in 2006 by a leading international marine warranty surveying company, as an independent dedicated engineering design consultancy. Since then Longitude has opened offices in Singapore, United States, United Kingdom and Mexico with a full time staff of naval architects and structural engineers, backed-up by a network of specialist freelance engineers.
We consider our most important assets to be our people, our independence and our reputation. Longitude is a compact company, and our size means we are not burdened with large company overheads and are flexible enough to set up project teams to meet the specific requirements of our clients.

- Longitude at RenewableUK 2012 Global Offshore Wind Conference Longitude will be attending this premier UK offshore wind industry event along with several other conferences throughout 2012 targeted at the offshore renewable energy sector. We hope to see you there.
- 20,000T Deep Panuke Production Field Centre (PFC) successfully installed Offshore Canada Longitude are proud to have been involved in this landmark project in collaboration with SBM-GustoMSC. The novel installation methodology allowed for installation direct off the transportation barge deck to avoid the need for the PFC to have independent floating capability.
- Cape lambert Wharf Installation well underway by Fugro Seacore in Western Australia Longitude have been heavily involved in engineering design and support for the conversion, upgrade and equipping of two jack up barges for this project as well as providing site specific assessments and operational/survival Nomograms for the vessels.
- Longitude Engineering small craft capability: Longitude Engineering have established a new office in Southampton providing consultancy services relating to small marine craft and their associated technologies, including the use of composite materials in the wider marine environment. So far in 2012 the team has won small boat contracts in the commercial, military and rescue sectors.
